Friday Project #4

This week was a little more than a "Friday Project". We worked on the site a little bit every day.

First, we finished one of those ad campaigns I was talking about last week. Each campaign gets:

• A big sexy slide on our homepage
• It's very own landing page
• A Facebook advertisement
• And *maybe* a digital billboard

The homepage slide and landing page are just an ExpressionEngine weblog entry to "Campaigns". Once we have more than 1 the "slide" on the homepage is actually going to start working. Like a slide. We're pretty proud of this new edition and if you don't check it out then you probably smell like cabbage.

Next up is our new email newsletter (which we should have launched on day 1 about 11 months ago. You live you learn). We're pretty excited about this one. Once a month we're going to send out an email of some links, articles, tips, deals, humor, etc on website design and development. In order to play catchup on getting subscribers we made a few funnels to get to the sign up page. Like 10! You'll probably see these funnels throughout the site; screaming at you. Just listen to them :)

Lastly, something that I'm most excited about is the work we did on our actual blog. The most noticeable is the commenting system. Yes, you can now comment. On our blog. And everyone rejoiced.
